About the Author
Stephen Mackenzie has been a deputy sheriff for more than 20 years and has been training and handling police service dogs for more than 30 years. A popular seminar instructor, he has testified in both criminal and civil cases as a court-recognized expert in animal behavior. He is currently a professor of animal science at the State University of New York at Cobleskill.

Great book for police k-9 handlers and decoys working with police & military k-9 working dogs. I think everyone who has a passion with training high caliber works dog buy this book to gain more knowledge and be more proficient reading dogs and great decoy . Five stars hand down

Good introductory text, but should always be used under the guidance of an experienced trainer: schutzhund for example. I would also make sure the correct equipment be used and not homemade substitutes. Makers of quality products are: Euro Jo, Gappay,Schweikart,
