Best for looking for unscriptual words in Scripture

This book might not have the most exhaustive concordance nor the most detailed bible dictionary, but if one wants to find Bible verses that might be applied to such current topics as abortion and drugs, this book can quickly get you started.
I would recommend using it with a Bible that has good cross references, since this book might only send you to one or two verses while, once your get there, a good bible might be able to link you with several more.
The great thing is since you can look up concepts and topics, rather than just words, you can use this book with just about any version of the Bible.
A great reference book, also marketed by Guideposts as their "Family Concordance."

Better quality alternative for this fast verse finder.

"The Guideposts Family Concordance" by Lloyd J. Ogilvie has a better quality binding with the same content as "Nelson's 3 in 1 Bible Reference Companion". Both have short definitions, topical outlines (like Nave's), and a KJV concordance, all on the same page. Much faster than Strong's to find a definition with the verse list. Designed for the KJV, but the topical index makes it useful for other translations too, like NKJV.

An absolute must for quick & easy bible study!

This volume combines the best of a bible dictionary, topical index and concordance. All three references are in easy to follow alphabetical listings by word/topic. If you're a real glutton for punishment you can buy three different sources. If you're more interested in serious bible study and spending time in the Word (which I hope you are), get this book!!
