About the Author
Chad Elkins has his own CPA practice in Chicago, and before that had experience working for the U.S. Tax Court and the Tax Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. He has an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, and passed all parts of the CPA exam the first time he took it with an almost perfect score. Tim Elkins, Chad's Father, has his own CPA practice in Texas, which he started after retiring from the Inspector General's Office of the U.S. Agency for International Development. Before retiring from government service, he was assigned to a special team that audited the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Excellent! This is a concise exposition of tax questions with all of our answers. I keep the Elkins Tax Guide ready on the phone for quick access throughout the year. We use this for business and home and got the updated version this year (it's only $4.95!!) and refer some of our clients to it to get on the same page.
